Founder's Manifesto | Dr. Susnata Karmakar

Knowledge Creation as the Highest Form of Creativity.

Born into a family of artists and influenced by the intellectual humanism of Tagore and Ray, I was trained to appreciate the creative mind long before I entered a laboratory. To me, academic research isn't just about data—it is about the intellectual satisfaction of using logic to address the fundamental questions of life.

Bridging Global Research and Secondary Mastery.

As a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a Ph.D. Scientist with over 10 years in Molecular Genetics, I have seen the gap between how science is practiced at the elite level and how it is taught in schools. My mission is to dismantle the "Ratta-Maro" culture. At Karmakar Klasses, we use the same high-fidelity structural logic used in global labs to ensure students don't just memorize labels—they develop a Researcher's Lens.

The Intellectual Pillars.

The Architect's Creeds

01

Visual Literacy

We move beyond 2D sketches. Influenced by a decade of advanced imaging, we believe that if a student cannot accurately visualize a system in 3D, they do not yet understand its logic.

02

Experimental Integrity

We treat the Class 9 syllabus with the same rigor as a peer-reviewed paper. We don't teach facts; we teach the evidence-based reasoning required to arrive at those facts.

03

Intellectual Sovereignty

Influenced by the SOLE (Self-Organized Learning Environments) framework, we architect an environment where students transition from passive pupils to self-directed explorers of the natural world.

Scientific Credentials & Research

Education

  • Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, IISER Kolkata
  • M.Sc. in Genomics

Experience

  • Research Associate, University of Cambridge
  • 10+ years in Molecular Genetics

Research Focus (Layman's Terms)

Cellular Coordination

Investigating the biological 'clean-up' systems that allow cells to move together as a team.

Genomic Architecture

Decoding the 'master switches' of the brain at Cambridge to understand how genes build complex developmental pathways.

Success is a delayed response to the foundation built today. Let's build it with the rigor of a researcher and the curiosity of an artist.
